Tenor saxophonist Jamie Oehlers (AUS) and drummer Ari Hoenig (USA) unite in the studio at long last to release Smoke and Mirrors.

Australian saxophonist Jamie Oehlers and US drummer Ari Honeig have been performing together on and off for a number of years, each time developing upon the musical relationship and enhancing the integration of their unique approaches.Here Jamie and Ari unite alongside fellow Australians; bassist Sam Anning and piano prodigy Tal Cohen, to create a dynamic and distinctive recording of Jamie’s new originals compositions.

This is the first album purely containing Oehlers’ originals since the Australian favourite and award winning “The Assemblers”.
